Developing the IT Infrastructure of a growing RWTH-outsourced Start-Up, including a full restructuring, especially focussing on big data, back up and restore capabilities. Implementing contigency plans to ensure a safe recovery of major amounts of data. Ensuring business continuity and supporting MaP's information security.
Siemons Ingenieure
since 2011

In 2011, the support of the Siemons Ingenieurbüros starts. First, a server infrastructure was rebuild. Two generations of client hardware were successfully implemented (CAD systems). A second location in Cologne was also connected to the Aachener network as soon as its infrastructure was build up. Further tasks were the VPN support, VPN support for mobile work stations, documentation and CSI. I also guided the team through advice on the topic of buying certain soft- and hardware.

- Focus on setting up new servers and a new server room from scratch and implementing them in an already existing IT system
